Autonics AT8N Time Relay Multi-function Digital Timer with Analog Dial Control With Relay Socket
Autonics AT8N timer is an 8-pin socket type timer with an analog type dial for easy adjustments.
The AT8N has a variety of selectable timer modes, functions, and ranges, which makes this product a convenient universal timer application choice.
Universal power supply of 100–240-volt AC or 24–240-volt DC in AT8N timer allows for flexibility in product use. A power on and output status LED easily verifies proper mode function.
Power on start timing operation
Control time selectable setting range: 0.05 seconds to 100 hours
Time limit or instantaneous double pole, double throw, 250-volt AC/5-amp contacts available
Power on delay, flicker type and interval output operation modes available
Socket type pin connection allows for panel (PG-08) or DIN rail (PS-08) mounting (sold separately)
Multi time range (16 types of time range)
Panel mounting bracket included with AT8N
Easy setting of time, time range, output operation mode
Easy to check output status by indicator
The operating mode determines the output method that is used when the set time has reached. The AT8N has three output operating modes available:
ON-delay Operation: With ON-delay operation, the Timer receives an input and then an output signal is output by switching the Timer contacts after a set time delay.
Flicker Operation: With flicker operation, an output repeatedly turns ON and OFF at the set time after an input is received.
Interval Operation: With interval operation, the output turns ON at the same time as the input and the output turns OFF after a set time.
Time operation of AT8N is "POWER ON START" type. That means the time clocking starts when voltage is applied to the timer power supply section. This kind of timers are most often used for automated machines.
The AT8N has 14 types of time ranges, from 0.05 … 0.5 sec to 10 … 100 hour.
The terminal of this product is an 8-pin socket (PG-08, PS-08N).
The AT8N has "relay" control output. it has 2 contacts which are Time limit DPDT (2c) or Time limit SPDT (1c) + Instantaneous SPDT (1c) depending on output operation mode.
Different types of errors are specified for AT8N timer:
Repeat: ≤±0.2% ±10 ms
SET: ≤±5% ±50 ms
Voltage: ≤±0.5%
Temp.: ≤±2%
There are limitations in temperature and humidity in which AT8N timer is used:
Ambient temperature: -10 … 55°C
Ambient humidity: 35 to 85%RH
Storage temperature: -25 … 65°C
Storage humidity: 35 to 85%RH
